Reporting EnR mondial automatisé (50 pays) via Power Automate

Context
For TotalEnergies’ renewable energy reporting team, monthly collection of wind/solar production and consumption data was handled country by country, using heterogeneous file formats and a manual consolidation process at HQ level.

Challenge
With ~50 countries and about 50 files processed every month (up to 2,000 rows per country, ~40,000 rows consolidated), the process was impacted by copy-paste errors, multiple versions, missing data, and limited traceability. This led to recurring delays and a high estimated rejection rate (30–40% of files).

Solution
Keerok delivered an end-to-end Microsoft 365 automation chain: a Microsoft Forms submission triggers the monthly workflow, and Power Automate orchestrates intake, checks, and integration. Office Scripts enforce validation rules (format, mandatory fields, consistency) on a standardized template (~30 required fields). When issues are found, an automated email sends back a report and an Excel file listing errors, prompting resubmission until compliant. Validated data is centralized into a SharePoint List, then used to feed the client’s Power BI dataset.

Results
Monthly consolidation time dropped from 18 hours to 5 minutes for the HQ owner. Standardization and automated controls significantly improved data stability, with an estimated error rate around ~5% after rollout, while improving traceability across submissions and corrections.
